Casa de la Memoria Museum
Established in 2006 as part of the Victim Assistance Program led by the Medellín Mayor’s Office, the Casa de la Memoria Museum aims to foster understanding and reconciliation in the face of the armed conflict and various forms of violence experienced in Medellín and throughout Colombia. By promoting open, pluralistic, and reflective dialogues, it seeks to contribute to the societal transformation that Colombia aspires to achieve.
The museum is both a physical and symbolic space for preserving the memories of the country’s armed conflict. It provides a platform for meaningful conversations about the past and present, inspiring hope and helping to imagine new possibilities for the future.
