800 Artists will give Life to the Traditional Parade of Myths and Legends
The traditional Parade of Myths and Legends will be held this Sunday, December 8, starting at 7:00 p.m. with the participation of more than 800 artists that will give life to the myths and legends of the world through a festival of color, magic and beauty.
The route 👣
The parade will depart from the Pablo Tobón Uribe Theater, will go down La Playa, take the Avenida Oriental, then San Juan and end at the Pies Descalzos Park.
At 7:00 p.m. it will depart from the Pablo Tobón Uribe Theater, go down La Playa Avenue, take the Avenida Oriental, then San Juan and finish at the Barefoot Park, where the public will be able to enjoy the staging of each group.
The Parade 👹
companies and troupes will showcase through makeup, costumes and movements, the essence and characters of myths and legends of the world such as: “Las Catrinas,” from Mexico; deities of North and Central America; “La Caja de Pandora” (Pandora’s Box) and “El Árbol Comehumanos” (Man-eating Tree), from Madagascar, among others. The show will be accompanied by two musical ensembles.
Among the recommendations for attendees is arriving on time, wearing comfortable clothes and shoes, taking special care for minors and, above all, fostering an atmosphere of coexistence and respect.
The parade has been inscribed in the memory of Medellín and, year after year, manages to captivate locals by the originality of their ensembles and the talent of the artists who make the street a feast, where creativity and joy mark each step. 👺
