Colombia brings transformation to the country during its Fashion Week
From July 23 to 25, design, trends and innovation will take over the 30th edition of Colombiamoda, Colombia’s Fashion Week®.
Colombiamoda: Fashion Week
The event will feature 22 fashion runways of renowned Colombian designers, this time the one in charge of starting this special edition will be from Johanna Ortiz, from Cali, whose fashion label is present in 23 countries, positioning herself as one of the most important designers in Latin America.
On the other hand, the Colombian brand Alado will be responsible for closing this edition. Alado is another brand that has been projected internationally, thanks to its business model focused on identifying the needs and expectations of its customers.
The closing catwalk will be a tribute to pottery, ceramics and porcelain, through its Terracota collection. It will be a meeting of the hands with mud and how gradually it becomes a masterpiece.
Colombiamoda 2019 will highlight during this edition the creative power of the country with designers of international recognition who will return to the runways of Colombia’s Fashion Week®.
Betting on transformation
The Fashion Week becomes a platform for new talents and trendy proposals in the country, with competitions for those who are just starting in the world of fashion and supporting proposals that have export talent. Thus, the commitment to the industry is reconfirmed, supporting talent, creativity and entrepreneurship, characteristics that project Colombian design to international scenarios.
