The Russian National Ballet brings to Medellin Romeo and Juliet
Medellín is filled with theatricality and dance, with the Russian National Ballet, one of the great intangible heritage of Russia, which arrives with a unique presentation to the City: Romeo and Juliet a ballet full of passion, theatricality and love that evoke the acclaimed writer English William Shakespeare.
After passing through the main cities of the country with the Swan Lake and showing up in Medellín running out of tickets, the National Russian Renaissance Ballet returns to the country with this show based on the romantic work of William Shakespeare and with the original music of Sergei Prokofiev , the show has already given five laps around the world with more than 150 thousand tickets sold.
The Romeo and Juliet Ballet will have three acts with a duration of 2 hours, where 26 outstanding dancers will delight in three acts with the precision of their dance, their impeccable performances and the harmony of their classical music.
The Russian National Ballet
It was founded in 1998, since then the company works in all central areas of Moscow: the Palace of Congresses of the State Kremlin, the Central Concert Hall of the State of Russia, Gostiny Dvor, the Hall of the Column of the State of the Federation of Russia, the House of Receptions of the Council of the Russian Federation, etc.
Each year, the team travels to prestigious concert halls abroad in the United States, Israel, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Croatia, China, India, Finland, France (participation in the Cannes Film Festival).
