Botanical Garden Joaquín Antonio Uribe

The Botanical Garden of Medellin named after Joaquín Antonio Uribe, a Colombian naturalist and writer, has 13.2 hectares of planted trees that are harmonized with the lake, the tropical forest, the garden of the palms and the desert garden.

Besides breathing fresh-air, there you will be able to see several species of native flowers in the Azaleas Patio, learn about science in the Scientific Building, explore the diversity of the national flora in the South American Outdoor Theater or enjoy the Orquideorama architecture, an artistic construction with a genuine design, that is the scenario of several important events in the city.
