Museum Casa Gardeliana

The Casa Gardeliana is the only one of its kind in the country. It is located in Medellin and is dedicated to pay tribute to the artistic values represented in Carlos Gardel’s life and work.

You will be able to take a fascinating and vibrant tour, through the history of Casa Gardeliana, where nostalgia and art come together. Gardel’s house, opened its doors on February 14, 1973, thus becoming a place for the promotion of tango through live singing and dancing shows with talented singers, musicians and dancers. The Gardeliana, as it is popularly known, has been consolidated as a tourist attraction for national and foreign visitors.

Casa Gardeliana became a museum in 2002, a unique and important place for tango artistic shows and a complete gallery of photos, documents, paintings and objects related to Carlos Gardel’s life and work. You may enjoy and watch this collection through guided tours offered by the museum during the week. This is the
ideal place for music lovers.

Attend a tango presentation. They are made the last Friday of every month, from 6:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m.
