EPM Water Museum is a place full of magic, a citizen’s setting for culture and education where you will be able to know everything about our most precious resource: water. It is a thematic museum of science, art and technology, where you will have an incredible experience that will challenge your knowledge, your senses and your sense of wonder.

Let’s take a trip back in time to the origin of the universe through explosions, particles, gases and boom! Life! Let’s take a tour through the history of water and its origins. Come to discover the evolution of our planet and water!

Know about the physical and chemical properties of water through steam, liquid, ice and many bubbles, experience it in all its states. Enjoy every landscape of our beautiful country, be amazed at the diversity of
climates, vegetation and species, in this sensory experience with each region of the Colombian territory.

Let’s go to the past to discover how some of the ancient civilizations created ingenious hydraulic systems to provide water, how they adapted themselves around water to survive, and then come and get to know the modern aqueduct system used by EPM in the Aburrá Valley.

Also, you will be able to value the importance of water for all the beings that inhabit the planet Earth from everyday life. You may end your tour with the fantastic art exhibitions we have for you.

How to get there
EPM Water Museum is located in the Parque de los Pies Descalzos (Barefoot Park), in front of Edificio Inteligente (EPM Intelligent Building). It is located in a strategic sector of the city, close to Alpujarra Metro Station and Plaza Mayor Metroplus station. It can also be accessed by the EnCicla bike system.
