From August 3 to 12 of 2018, Medellín once again becomes host to one of the most beautiful exhibitions of Colombia. The Flowers Festival brings tradition and fun for all ages, from concerts to the well-known antique cars and Silleteros parades.

Feria de Flores Opening

The Flowers festival starts on August 3 with a concert filled with celebrities.

National Trova Festival

Enjoy the best sung verses, an event full of emotion. The semi-final rounds will be held on August 3 and 4 and the final contest will take place on August 10 at Plaza Gardel.

Flowers Square (Zona Norte)

An exhibition of the Paisa culture will be displayed between August 3 and 7 in Parque Norte. Admission will be free of charge. There, you will be able to find gastronomy, crafts and traditional games for children, youngsters and adults.

Night Cultural Park

It will take place between August 5 and 9 in Plaza Gardel of the Flowers Festival, featuring local, national, and international artists, 5 nights full of music, culture and fun.

Flowers Square (Zona Occidente)

An exhibition of the Paisa culture will be available between August 5 and 10 at Aeroparque Juan Pablo II. Admission will be free of charge. There, you will be able to find gastronomy, crafts, and traditional games for children, young people and adults.

Orquídeas, Flores and Artesanías Exposition

A display of regional and national natural richness and beauty will take place between August 7 and 12 at the Orchids, Flowers and Crafts Botanical Garden exhibition.

Flowers Square ( Zona Sur)

You may see a display of the Paisa culture in Ciudad del Río between August 8 and 12. Admission is free of charge. There, you will find gastronomy, crafts and traditional games for children, youngsters and adults.

Classic and Antique Cars Parade

On August 11, you will be able to see an itinerant museum throughout the city with collection cars travelling around the streets of Medellin, where the public will have the opportunity to enjoy this colorful activity and a little bit of history.

Silleteros Parade

On August 12, the most emblematic and traditional parade of the Flowers Festival will take place throughout Avenida Guayabal. For 61 years, the silleteros have come to Medellín to exhibit their monuments and receive the applause of the marveled crowd.
