This recognition was based on surveys of 20,000 people and local experts, evaluating aspects such as gastronomy, entertainment, culture, and community. The publication highlighted Provenza for its lush greenery, vibrant atmosphere, and entrepreneurial spirit, showcasing its array of restaurants, cafés, and bars that reflect the city’s energy and warmth.

- Take Medellín’s Metro Line A to the Poblado station.
- From there, you can walk (approximately 20 minutes) or take a taxi, as the uphill route to Provenza can be a bit steep.
2. By Taxi
- Simply ask the driver to take you to “Provenza,” and they’ll know exactly where to go.
3. By Bus
- If you’re coming from the center or north of Medellín, take any bus heading along Avenida El Poblado. Ask the driver to drop you near Parque Lleras or the corner of Provenza.
4. By Car
- Use navigation apps like Google Maps or Waze. Enter “Provenza, Medellín” as your destination.
- Several public parking areas are available near Parque Lleras, though finding spots can be challenging on weekends.
5. On Foot
- If you’re already in El Poblado, you can walk from Parque Lleras, as Provenza is just a short stroll away.
- Best Times to Visit: Provenza offers something for everyone at any time of the day. For a quieter vibe and to enjoy the cafés and shops, visit between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. If you’re into nightlife, head over after 7:00 PM.
- Safety: Provenza is generally safe, but as with any tourist area, be mindful of your belongings and avoid displaying valuables. Using taxis at night is recommended.
- Dress Code: Most places in Provenza are casual, but some upscale restaurants and bars may require smart casual attire.
